Globalisation is not just a word, it is really happening. International interaction throughout the business community is increasing rapidly, and the ability to work and communicate across several cultures has become a key factor in business transactions. Thus, the Bachelor in International Business course focuses on the interrelationship of world business operations. Students are introduced to current conceptual perspectives; cultural, educational, political and economical constraints within the international financial and trade frameworks. The course also examines the impact of globalisation including the problems and challenges facing multi-national corporations. Our goal is to assist students in developing skills through exposure to real-world economic issues and to understand the nature of globalisation and its impact on business practices in multi-national firms that they might work in. Therefore our aim is to prepare our students for life after university.
